Brenda is responsible for the administration and governance of [graduate studies](https://economics.harvard.edu/graduate) within the department. In coordination with the [Director of Graduate Studies](https://economics.harvard.edu/people/jeffrey-miron), she manages the general welfare of students, provides strategic academic planning, and oversees the committees on admissions, recruitment, and job placement. Brenda serves as the liaison among the graduate students, program faculty and university administration to facilitate better communication and overall quality student services.
