Congratulations to Rebecca Diamond '13 for Winning the 2022 Elaine Bennett Research Prize
We are thrilled that Rebecca Diamond -- a 2013 graduate of our department -- has been awarded the 2022 Elaine Bennett Research Prize. The Elaine Bennett Research Prize recognizes and honors outstanding research in any field of economics by a woman not more than seven years beyond her Ph.D. (adjusted for family responsibilities). Professor Diamond is an immensely talented and accomplished applied microeconomist who has done pathbreaking and policy-relevant work on the changing skill compositions of cities, food deserts, rent control, the low-income housing tax credit, and gender gaps in the gig economy.
