Professor Claudia Goldin Addresses the American Economic Association on the Gender Wage Gap

    Harvard Professor Claudia Goldin, president of the American Economic Association, addressed the AEA annual meeting in Philadelphia in early January on how to fix the gender wage gap.

    "In her presidential address at the AEA annual meeting last week, Claudia Goldin said the difference in pay between men and women could be reduced if employers allowed employees more flexibility in choosing the hours when they work."
