Spring 2026 Term Key Dates for Economics Concentrators

Jan 22: Advising Office Hours open (Zoom only until Jan 26; in person and Zoom Jan 26 onwards). Ec Concentration Advisors are available Monday through Friday, 10am-4pm, all semester for one-on-one conversations!

Jan 26: Spring term begins. First meeting of spring term classes.

Jan 26: Seniors – If you haven’t already, please declare your Ec degree track as Basic, Thesis, or Advanced Course Track (ACT) with your Ec concentration advisor (https://www.economics.harvard.edu/advising).

Feb 2: Deadline to add/drop courses without instructor permission

Feb 9: Deadline to add/drop courses or change grading option without a fee

Feb 23: Deadline to add/drop courses or change grading option with a fee

Mar 11: Senior honors theses due by 5pm ET. Thesis celebration 4-6pm!

Mar 18: Final Degree Applications for May degree candidates due

Apr 1: Fall 2026 course registration begins

Apr 6: Deadline to withdraw from a course

Apr 13: Economics Honors General Exam, in person, 3 - 7:30 pm. More information can be found on the Honors page

Apr 15: Fall 2026 course registration deadline

May 15: Thesis grades and Honors results given out

May 28:  Commencement!  Congratulations, Seniors!
