Economics Honors Information
Students not recommended for honors in a concentration may be recommended by the Faculty for the degree Cum Laude on the basis of an overall grade point average that meets the minimum GPA established for Magna Cum Laude honors. This cut off is designated below as cum laude.

The following grade point average thresholds were established by the Faculty for awarding degrees Magna Cum Laude and Cum Laude in Field for the June 2011degree period:
Magna Cum Laude -- 3.75
Cum Laude in Field -- 3.480
Cum Laude -- 3.75
Latin Honors cut offs from past years:
- 2010 Magna cum laude in field: 3.740
;Cum laude in field: 3.472
Cum laude in field: 3.472
- 2009 Magna cum laude in field: 3.721
Cum laude in field: 3.448
Honors General Exam
2012 honors exam will be held Wednesday April 4th from 3:00-6:00pm in the Geological lecture Hall #100
Review Sessions will be held the week before the exam:
Micro/Macro Review: Friday March 30th, 7-10:00pm, Science Center Hall D
Reviews will be taped and posted here on the website a few days before the exam.
